Asti focuses primarily on civil litigation with particular emphasis in areas of land use, federal courts, and appellate practice. Asti is a skilled oral advocate, brief writer, and trial attorney. Within weeks of joining the Riverside team, Asti successfully defended a Spokane business owner and his business by trying partnership and employment related claims before a jury and by defeating a number of other claims asserted against the client on summary judgment. 


Asti earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and a Managing Editor for the Washington Law Review. Before attending law school, Asti taught high school science in Phoenix, Arizona as a member of Teach for America.


Asti has a strong background in federal courts and remains actively involved in the federal bar. After graduating from law school, Asti clerked for Judge Salvador Mendoza Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington and for Judge Ronald M. Gould in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She currently serves as a lawyer representative for the Ninth Circuit, where she works with attorneys and judges to ensure the federal courts are accessible to all.
